Celtics vs Bucks

Celtics vs Bucks : The Boston Celtics looked absolutely dominant in their first round series against the Indiana Pacers. However, the same can't exactly be said throughout their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Milwaukee Bucks so far. The Bucks came away with a 113-101 victory over the Celtics in Game 4 on Monday and now hold a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Giannis Antetokounmpo continued his reign of terror as he scored 39 points on a very efficient 15-of-22 shooting performance while also securing 16 rebounds and dishing out four assists.

Now the Bucks have the opportunity to close out the series in Game 5 on Wednesday at home.

In case you missed it, the Boston Celtics are just a few hours away from the most important game of the 2018-19 season to date.

At 7 p.m. on Monday, the Celtics take on the Milwaukee Bucks, trailing 2-1 in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Celtics took Game 1 comfortably, then lost Games 2 and 3 in a pair of blowouts that handed home-court advantage -- and seemingly plenty of confidence -- back to Giannis Antetokounmpo and a Bucks team with plenty of wind in their sails from a 60-win regular season.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers trolled the Boston Celtics legend and ESPN NBA analyst Monday night, following the Milwaukee Bucks’ win over the C’s in Game 4 of their second-round NBA playoff series. Pierce (in)famously declared the series “over” April 28 after the Celtics won Game 1, but the Bucks won the next three games to push Boston to the brink of elimination.

The Celtics’ ominous deficit in the series prompted Rodgers to target Pierce via Twitter and hit him between the numbers.

The Boston Celtics find themselves in a dreadful 3-1 playoff deficit. After stealing Game 1 in Milwaukee, the Celtics lost to the Bucks in Milwaukee, then in Boston, then in Boston, again. A Celtics team that swept an undermanned Indiana squad in the first round now has their back against the wall, facing playoff odds only 10 teams in NBA history have ever overcome.

Boston wreaks of a team that coasted through the regular season, thinking it could “turn it on” or “flip the switch” in the playoffs. As Kyrie Irving said in late February:

“I can’t wait for all this other B.S. about the regular season, keep getting better, talking over and over and over again about what we can do to keep getting better playing in the regular season,” Irving said. “I just want to be at the highest level playing.”
